Shinoda Plasma flexible screen 3 meters

Shinoada society, a subsidiary of Japanese company Fujitsu has demonstrated a flexible screen of 125 inches (3 meters).

Based on a plasma screen technology owner, the display medium is 1 mm thick. It is designed based glass tubes with a thickness of 0.1 mm, similar to those found in a conventional plasma slab, but the use of tubes used to keep the characteristics of flexibility, finesse and lightness that make it usable.

Only technical limit of the plasma Shinoda, resolution limited to date to 960 x 360 pixels. Which in itself is not so limited if the screen is positioned high and far enough from the public.

And as these screens are intended for applications of public displays, whether commercial or not, the resolution problem is not really one.

The company announced it would begin Shinoda production of flexible plasma screens in 2009.
